About: Brooks DeRyder

Brooks P. DeRyder is an Illustrator whose objective as an artist is to give the client as many options as possible, especially concerning technique and subject matter. Also to meet deadlines in all artistic fields. Another objective is to be as ethical as possible in all circumstances as a creative professional. 

Artist’s Statement: Recognized ability to offer solutions to the client for the visual communications problems posed. Competence to describe problems effectively and envision winning solutions. Qualification to simultaneously understand the aesthetic requirements of a project, agree on the business arrangements, and establish rapport with the client; Imparts vision and enthusiasm to all projects. Current charity work, contributions and volunteer with ten years experience in non profits,    Brooks P. DeRyder is an Illustrator whose objective as an artist is to give the client as many options as possible, especially concerning technique and subject matter. Also to meet deadlines in all artistic fields. Another objective is to be as ethical as possible in all circumstances as a creative professional. Brooks lives in Dover, DE.                 

Biography: Brooks P. DeRyder was born in Belleville, NJ in 1977 and lives and works in Dover, DE. Solo exhibitions include The Craft Creators Gallery, A Taste of Newton Craft Fair Newton, NJ (2012). Group Exhibitions include The Gallery at SCCC, Newton, NJ (2012), New Jersey State Fair, Art in Sussex County, Augusta, NJ (2012), and was published by Idiom and Image, The Arts Magazine of Sussex County Community College, Newton, NJ (2012).  DeRyder received the SCCC Medallion Foundation Scholarship in 2012-2013, is a member of The Sussex County Community College Art Club and has been a member of The Graphic Artist Guild since 2014. Two of his most recent design series include “Unpublished Illustrations, 2015, Illustrations 1-8”, and “Modern Fantasy Collection, 2016, Illustrations 1-4”. Brooks is also an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Newton, NJ.
